Hosting and server log files

We host the content of our website with the following provider:

Strato
The provider is Strato AG, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany (hereinafter "Strato"). When you visit our website, Strato technically collects various log files, including your IP address, the date and time of access, the page requested, and information about your browser and operating system.

This processing serves to provide the website and to ensure the security and stability of its operation. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and efficient operation).

Contact by email

If you contact us by email (e.g. at info@nostara.de), we process your email address, your name if provided, and the content of your message in order to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your request relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries).

We delete your request once it has been dealt with and no statutory retention obligations apply. There is no contact form on this website.

Local storage: design choice

If you use the switch in the header to change between the dark and light design, your browser stores this choice under the name nostara-theme in local storage (localStorage). The entry is only set by your click, contains no personal data, and is used solely to restore your preferred display on your next visit. It remains until you delete it in your browser. The legal basis is Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG; consent is not required because you explicitly use this function.

Consent management (Usercentrics)

We use the consent management service of Usercentrics GmbH, Sendlinger Straße 7, 80331 Munich, Germany, to obtain, store and document your consent. For this purpose, a connection to Usercentrics servers is established when the page loads, during which your IP address is technically transmitted. The text of this privacy policy is also loaded from Usercentrics when you open this page.

When you make a consent decision, data including consent status, time, consent ID, banner language, browser and referrer information as well as your IP address are logged. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR in conjunction with Art. 7(1) GDPR (obligation to demonstrate consent) and Section 25 TDDDG.
